Brief History Of The Jamaatul Haq

Jamaatul Haq (SL) Was founded in March 1992 by the late sheik Mohamed Alie mujtabah he graduated from karachi University in Pakistan the first chief imam and grand mufti who is still serving in the capacity is Alhaji Sheikh Mohammed bashir Joaque he graduates from the umu Qura university in Mecca Saudi Arabia both the founder and the chief imam were initially attached to one of the then two mosques in the community Masjid Bitulah. Following persistent pressure from some other members of this Masjid who did not like sheiks Preaching against on Islamic cultures and tradition sheik Mujtabah and his well-wishers were driven away the late sheik offered Parts of his family Land which had been burnt by a mysterious fire the construction of temporary mosque. hence founding of Jamaatul Haq (SL)

The membership of the newly formed jamaat which unlike the other jamaat cut across tribal line increase very fast and sheik mujtabah become very popular nationwide he was however brutally murder by the enemies of Islam on 12 February 1998

before his death he had already pioneer the construction of a 4-storey complex which is still in progress in the family compound

on 15th September 1999 the Mustafa family complete all necessary documentation and the land was finally conveyed to the jamaat. May Allah bless the entire mujtabah family for this kind of gesture.

Other achievements before his death including the setting up of the madrassa the institute of Islam studies and a youth group known as mustashedin wa mustashedat.
